AK1 Tuxedo – ready for every occasion

The AK1 Tuxedo is a fixed blade EDC knife for anyone who wants to pair a clean design with premium function. The name says it all: like a good tuxedo, this custom knife feels understated, confident, and fitting for nearly any occasion — from daily carry to your collection.

The drop-point blade is a classic among everyday knives for good reason. Its shape offers a rugged tip, good control, and strong cutting performance. That makes the AK1 Tuxedo especially well suited for clean slices, precise cuts, and fine work with the tip — for example opening packaging, prepping material, or other typical EDC tasks.

For blade steel, this configured AK1 relies on CPM MagnaCut. This powder-metallurgy steel combines high corrosion resistance with very good edge retention, making the knife a dependable everyday companion.

Visually, the AK1 Tuxedo thrives on the contrast between Titanium Dusk scales and a Plain titanium inlay. The matte, midnight-black surface feels calm and technical, while the titanium inlay adds a clean, refined accent. The plain version deliberately skips any pattern, underlining the clean, timeless character.

The ergonomically shaped titanium scales sit comfortably in the hand, making this compact fixed blade knife especially easy to handle. The AK1 Tuxedo ships with a matching Kydex sheath, in which the knife locks in securely for reliable carry.

Designed by Alex Kremer, brought to life with the Böker manufactory in Solingen and made in Germany, the AK1 Tuxedo stands for thoughtful design, premium materials, and genuine EDC capability.

Notes:

With screwed-on scales, moisture from your hands can occasionally get between the tang and the scales. This can cause a light layer of rust to form in spots, which only becomes visible once the scales are removed. This doesn't affect the knife's quality or function. To help prevent it, we recommend occasionally treating the area with a few drops of food-safe mineral oil, such as Ballistol.

Variations in color and texture, as well as small material inclusions, are possible. The formation of a patina also can't be avoided depending on the material and use.
