Accessibility
We want our online shop to be easy to access and use for as many people as possible. That is why we are working to make our website more accessible, to identify existing barriers and to remove them wherever possible.
This statement applies to www.daily-customs.de.
Daily Customs is a service provided by:
KURIOS ´94 Laserprodukt GmbH
Zürnweg 21
21217 Seevetal
Germany
Represented by the managing directors Stephen R. Ostermoor, Jens-Uwe Kuschnerus and Jannik Schulze-Ostermoor.
Legal framework and relevant functions
We endeavour to make our online shop accessible in line with the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and its associated regulation.
For www.daily-customs.de, the online shop as an electronic commerce service is particularly relevant. Through the website, users can view, select and order products from the categories of knives, scales for pocket knives, EDC accessories, prybars, beads, leather goods, hoodies and related accessories.
The functions and content required to use the shop and to complete an order should be accessible in particular. This applies above all to navigation, search, filters, product pages, product variants, shopping basket, checkout, customer account, payment functions, contact form, newsletter sign-up, the FAQ section, as well as information on shipping, payment, cancellation and returns.
This content and these functions should be designed so that they are findable, perceivable, operable, understandable and technically robust to use.
Current state of accessibility
This website is currently partially compliant with the accessibility requirements.
An external accessibility audit has not yet been carried out. This assessment is based on an internal evaluation of the website and the functions currently known.
Known limitations
As things currently stand, the following content or functions on our website may not yet be fully accessible:
- Product images do not yet consistently have maintained alternative texts.
- Full keyboard operability of all areas has not yet been conclusively tested.
- The visibility of focus indicators during keyboard operation has not yet been conclusively tested.
- Individual form hints or error messages may not yet be output optimally for assistive technologies.
- Cookie banners, pop-ups, newsletter elements or other embedded functions may cause limitations depending on their technical implementation.
- External content, embedded services or links to other websites, for example those of partners and dealers, are in some cases outside our direct sphere of influence.
- Safety data sheets, operating instructions or other PDF documents may not currently be fully accessible.
- Future downloads, product configurators, drops or pre-order functions will be assessed separately with regard to accessibility.
If you need a particular PDF document or piece of information in a more accessible form, please contact us. We will endeavour to provide the information to you in a suitable form.
