The AK4 Grand Ridge is a fixed-blade knife for anyone looking for a reliable, powerful and at the same time cleanly configured tool for the outdoors. The name recalls long ridgelines, rocky edges and wide landscapes – and that is exactly where this AK4 feels at home: hiking, camping, bushcraft or as a strong outdoor knife in an EDC setup.

The basis is an AK4 Drop Point with a CPM 3V blade in a two-tone finish. The blade design by Alex Kremer combines practical line work with the robust DNA of a full-grown outdoor knife. The AK4 is realised Made in Germany in collaboration with Böker Manufaktur Solingen – a combination of well-thought-out design, clean manufacturing and genuine usability.

The drop point blade shape is one of the most versatile geometries in the knife world: it offers a controllable tip, a practical edge and is suited both to clean cuts and to more demanding work on wood, rope or gear. CPM 3V is a particularly tough tool steel with high load capacity and very good edge retention – ideal when your knife is meant not only to look good but to really work.

The titanium scales bring stability, quality and a technical look to the knife. Thanks to the milled-out construction, they remain pleasantly light despite the robust material. The textured Diamond surface provides a noticeable grip, while the black Micarta inlay adds a calm, functional accent.

The AK4 Grand Ridge is supplied with a matching Kydex sheath for safe transport and quick access. This gives you a high-quality configured fixed-blade knife that convincingly combines outdoor capability, material quality and clear design.

Notes:

CPM 3V is a very tough and capable tool steel, but it is not stainless. Clean the blade after contact with moisture, dirt or acidic substances and care for it with a little oil as needed. This keeps the knife in good condition over the long term.

With titanium and Micarta, slight variations in colour, structure and surface are typical of the materials. Micarta can develop a natural patina through use, skin contact and care.

As the scales are screwed on, moisture can get between the tang and the scale during intensive use. This does not affect function; as a preventive measure we recommend occasionally applying a thin film of food-safe mineral oil to the tang.
