The AK1 Scavenger is a fixed blade EDC knife with a rugged character and clear tool DNA. The name fits: this setup looks like it was built for dusty workbenches, tough jobs, and situations where a knife needs to do more than just look good — it needs to work reliably. The combination of a stonewashed MagnaCut blade and Titanium Rusty scales gives the AK1 Scavenger a rugged, almost weathered look — technical, resilient, and deliberately unpolished.

The American tanto blade brings a strong tip and two clearly separated cutting zones. The forward secondary edge is especially well suited for precise cuts, controlled starts, and tasks like opening packaging or fine cutting work. The longer primary edge handles clean everyday cuts, while the distinctive blade geometry gives the knife extra stability and a bold profile.

CPM MagnaCut is the right choice for this custom knife: a modern powder-metallurgy blade steel with high corrosion resistance, good edge retention, and strong everyday usability. The stonewashed finish underlines the functional focus, since minor signs of use stand out less and blend well into the surface.

The Titanium Rusty scales reinforce the Scavenger look. They feel raw, industrial, and distinctive, while staying premium and durable. The result is a personalized AK1 that doesn't look like it belongs in a display case, but ready for action.

The AK1 blade was designed by Alex Kremer and brought to life in collaboration with the Böker manufactory in Solingen. A compact fixed blade knife for anyone looking for a striking EDC with a rugged tip, a bold material mix, and character of its own.

Notes:

With screwed-on scales, moisture from your hands can occasionally get between the tang and the scales. This can cause a light layer of rust to form in spots, which only becomes visible once the scales are removed. This doesn't affect the knife's quality or function. To help prevent it, we recommend occasionally treating the area with a few drops of food-safe mineral oil, such as Ballistol.

Variations in color and texture, as well as small material inclusions, are possible. The formation of a patina also can't be avoided depending on the material and use.
