With the AK1 inlay you extend your AK1 scales with a separate design element that deliberately changes the look and feel. The inlay is made for AK1 scales with a corresponding recess and gives you more variety to tailor your EDC setup individually.
The Diamond design brings a noticeably more technical surface to the scales. The milled structure not only creates a striking look but also increases grip. Especially if you use your AK1 regularly, this gives you more control in the grip area without changing the compact concept of the scales. The inlay becomes particularly interesting through the ability to deliberately combine different materials and colours: this lets you set targeted material contrasts – for example between plain scales and a coloured inlay, or between different surfaces and structures.
The AK1 Inlay Diamond is made from G10 in Orange, OD Green and black. G10 is a robust composite of glass fibres and epoxy resin, characterised by low weight, good stability and everyday-ready durability. The inlays are CNC-milled and precisely matched to the corresponding scales.
Fitting remains straightforward: scales and inlay can be screwed directly onto the tang with a Torx key without much effort. This lets you adjust your setup yourself when needed or change it again later.
Note:
Deviations in colour and structure as well as small material inclusions are possible depending on the material. Slight darkening through use can also occur.
