The AK4 Grand Hunter is not a knife for the display cabinet, but for the outdoors. For cold mornings in the hunting ground, damp forest floor, wet hands and jobs where your knife simply has to work. It combines the classic character of a hunting knife with a modern choice of materials and well-thought-out function.

The blade design comes from Alex Kremer and was realised together with the Böker Manufaktur Solingen. This means the Grand Hunter combines a clear, practical design language with German knife tradition and high-quality manufacturing. Made in Germany fits here not as a mere label, but as part of the ambition: a functional tool for hunting, the outdoors and the hunting ground, cleanly executed and designed for real use.

The basis is an AK4 Drop Point Stonewashed with a blade in Sandvik 14C28N. The steel brings together good cutting performance with high corrosion resistance and is therefore a very good match for a knife that has to cope with moisture, dirt and intensive use while hunting, camping or on tour. The Stonewashed finish underlines the used, hard-wearing character and makes smaller everyday marks stand out less.

The drop point blade is deliberately chosen to be universal: a controllable tip, a practical edge and strong all-round properties. Whether in the hunting ground, when preparing, cutting, dressing game or on general outdoor work – the Grand Hunter remains versatile and easy to control.

The lightweight G10 scales in OD Green give the knife its hunting character. The green looks natural, understated and fits straight into the forest. At the same time, the knife remains pleasantly light. The Diamond texture provides a secure grip, even when things get wet, cold or dirty. Another practical advantage: the scales can be unscrewed, so you can clean the knife thoroughly after use.

The AK4 Grand Hunter is supplied with a matching Kydex sheath – secure, robust and ready for the next trip outdoors.

Notes:

After contact with moisture, perspiration or game, you should clean the knife and store it dry. With screwed scales, moisture can in principle get between the tang and the scales. This can be reduced through regular care and occasionally a little food-safe mineral oil. Due to the modified scale shape, this configuration is matched to the appropriate Daily Customs Kydex sheath.
