With the SAK Scales 91 mm Fluted you give your Swiss Army Knife a new appearance – cleaner, more refined and more personal. The Fluted design relies on fine, lengthwise-milled grooves that look elegant and modern while remaining deliberately restrained. That is precisely the appeal: the scales bring structure, depth and character to a classic setup.

Especially if you see your knife not just as a tool but as a fixed part of your EDC, high-quality custom scales make a noticeable difference. They change not only the look but also the feel and overall impression. A familiar everyday object becomes a knife that suits you, your style and your setup better.

Several materials are available for the Fluted version. Particularly popular are scales for Swiss Army Knives in titanium, because they combine robustness, precise craftsmanship and a striking, technical look. Alongside classic titanium, the variants Titanium Rusty with a characterful, lively surface and Titanium Dusk with a matte, midnight-black look are available. The range is rounded off by Canvas Micarta in green and G10 in orange. Both materials are precisely milled, rugged in everyday use and pleasantly light – ideal if you want a durable, grippy and uncomplicated material.

The titanium versions are additionally available with a cross inlay. This adds even more design freedom, as interchangeable cross inlays extend the customisation in a meaningful and visible way. This lets you tailor your knife even more to your own taste.

A functional advantage of the metal scales lies in the three-hole pattern. This makes them compatible with a wide selection of pocket clips from Daily Customs as well as from other manufacturers such as Emerson Knives, Steel Flame Jewelry or Benchmade. This is especially interesting if you want not only to upgrade your knife visually but also to integrate it more practically into your EDC.

The SAK scales fit 91 mm Victorinox pocket knives and are therefore a high-quality way to specifically upgrade existing models. Older, long-used or inherited knives in particular gain new meaning this way. Instead of disappearing into a drawer, they become an object you enjoy carrying again – more personal, higher quality and closer to your everyday life.

The scales are made in Germany with high precision and a clear eye for material, function and design.

Installation on request

On request, we can mount the scales directly onto a new Swiss Army Knife for you. This way you get your knife fully assembled and ready to use.

Notes: Our Micarta products are shipped untreated. For richer colours, the surface can be treated with mineral oil. The material also develops a natural patina through use. Due to the woven fabrics used, every scale is unique; variations in colour and structure are therefore normal.

Titanium, brass and copper are natural materials too. Here as well, variations in colour and the possible formation of a patina cannot be avoided.

When mounting the scales with 2K adhesive, take particular care with the pressure applied, especially with Micarta and G10. Too much pressure can cause the knife's rivets to show through on the front of the material.

Warnings & safety information

These scales are accessories for Swiss Army pocket knives and are intended exclusively for the models specified in each case. An incorrect fit, damaged scales, unsuitable small parts or improper assembly can impair the safe handling of the knife.

Assembly and fit: Before assembly, check that the knife, scales and supplied small parts are clean, dry, undamaged and a proper fit. Scales that do not fit, are damaged or loosely fitted can come loose, slip or impair the stability of the handle.

Cut injuries during assembly: During assembly there is a risk of injury from the blade of the knife as well as from sharp edges on the knife or accessories. Put the knife down securely during assembly, keep blades and tools closed and avoid direct contact with the edge.

Adhesives: A suitable two-component adhesive is recommended for assembly. The safety and processing instructions of the adhesive manufacturer must be observed. Adhesive can irritate the skin, eyes and mucous membranes or trigger allergic reactions. Avoid skin and eye contact, do not inhale vapours and use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not load or use the scales until the adhesive has fully cured.

Loose or damaged handle: Loosely seated, damaged or cracked scales can impair control of the knife and lead to injury. Before use, check that the scales are firmly seated and undamaged. Do not continue to use damaged or loosely seated scales.

Use other than intended: Do not misuse, modify, overload the scales or use them on unsuitable knife models. Improper use can lead to material breakage, loss of control or injury.

Children and small parts: Not a toy. Keep away from children. Supplied screws and other small parts must likewise be kept away from children due to the possible risk of swallowing.
