The AK1 Cyberpunk is a fixed blade knife for anyone looking for a compact EDC with clear function and a strong visual identity. The name says it all: a black PVD coating, semi-translucent Ultem, and the technical diamond texture evoke a world of neon light, shadow, and precise function — futuristic, clean, and uncompromisingly practical.
The reverse tanto blade designed by Alex Kremer, made from powder-metallurgy RWL34™, fits this character perfectly. Its straight, utilitarian shape is especially well suited for controlled cuts, precise work with the tip, and tough EDC cutting tasks. The steel offers long-lasting edge retention, sharpens up comparatively easily, and gets a strong boost in both looks and function from the matte black PVD coating. The screws are black-coated to match.
The Ultem Diamond scales nail the cyberpunk look: a semi-translucent amber tone, a technical material character, and a grippy texture that gives you noticeably more control during cutting tasks. Ultem is light, rugged, and sets a striking contrast against the stealthy black blade.
The AK1 blade was brought to life in collaboration with the Böker manufactory in Solingen — a compact, made-in-Germany EDC with a thoughtful build and a strong custom character. The reversible lanyard tab lets you fit a lanyard when needed, or tuck the loop discreetly into the end of the handle. The AK1 Cyberpunk ships with a matching Kydex sheath.
Note:
With screwed-on scales, moisture from your hands can occasionally get between the tang and the scales. This can cause a light layer of rust to form in spots, which only becomes visible once the scales are removed. This doesn't affect the knife's quality or function. To help prevent it, we recommend occasionally treating the area with a few drops of food-safe mineral oil, such as Ballistol.
