The AK1 Diamond Scales are the right choice if you want to customise your AK1 visually and make it noticeably grippier at the same time. The double-sided Diamond pattern provides a direct, non-slip feel and gives you more control during everyday cutting tasks. At the same time, the particularly light, ergonomically shaped scales sit comfortably in the hand, so the AK1's compact concept is retained but feels considerably more secure and full of character.

The AK1 Diamond scales are available in G10 in orange, black and OD Green, as well as in Ultem with a semi-transparent amber look. G10 is a composite of glass fibres and epoxy resin. It is light, rugged and very resistant – ideal for functional custom knives and EDC setups. Ultem is a high-performance thermoplastic with a distinctive look, likewise low weight and high everyday usability. The warm, slightly transparent amber colour gives your AK1 a particularly technical yet characterful look.

Installation is straightforward: the scales can be screwed directly onto the tang without much effort using a matching Torx key. This lets you quickly rebuild, adapt or reconfigure your AK1 – without any permanent bonding.

The AK1 is based on a modular system. Choose steel, finish, scales, inlays and materials to match your setup. In the AK1 Configurator you can view different combinations directly on the knife and build your AK1 exactly the way you want.

Natural changes can occur with the materials used. The possible formation of a patina cannot be avoided. Variations in colour and structure as well as small material inclusions are also possible and are part of the material's individual character.
