These scales are made for you if you want to upgrade your AK4 not only functionally but also visually in a targeted way. The scales have a precisely milled recess for a separate inlay, which you can choose on the website in various materials. This lets you combine your preferred material and colour variants and make your knife considerably more personal without changing the AK4's basic concept.

At the same time, the ergonomically shaped scales sit comfortably in the hand and support a secure hold during typical cutting tasks with your hunting or outdoor knife. The textured surface provides very good grip and gives you noticeably more control in use. Recesses on the back reduce weight without losing the high-quality character of the scales. A concealed recess for the lanyard hole is also integrated at the end of the handle.

The scales are made from titanium Grade 5 (Ti6Al4V). Available options are classic titanium as well as the special variants titanium Rusty with a rust-coloured look and titanium Dusk with a matte, midnight-black surface and anthracite anodising.

The installation is straightforward: you can screw the scales directly onto the tang without much effort using a matching Torx key. Thanks to the modular system, your AK4 can be personalised further step by step.

The AK4 is based on a modular system. Choose steel, finish, scales, inlays and materials to match your setup. In the AK4 Configurator you can view different combinations directly on the knife and build your AK4 exactly the way you want.

Some inlay materials are natural products. Variations in colour and structure, small material inclusions and the development of a patina are possible and are part of the material's character.

Important compatibility note: Due to the modified shape, our AK4 scales only fit with our Kydex. Scales and Kydex from Böker are not compatible with our products.

These scales are accessories for knives and are intended exclusively for the models specified in each case. An incorrect fit, damaged scales, unsuitable screws or improper assembly can impair the safe handling of the knife.

Assembly and fit: Before assembly, check that the knife, scales and screws are clean, dry, undamaged and a proper fit. Scales that do not fit, are damaged or loosely fitted can come loose, slip or impair the stability of the handle.

Cut injuries during assembly: During assembly there is a risk of injury from the blade of the knife as well as from sharp edges on the knife or accessories. Put the knife down securely during assembly, secure the blade and avoid direct contact with the edge.

Loose or damaged handle: Loosely seated, damaged or cracked scales can impair control of the knife and lead to injury. Before use, check that the scales are firmly seated and undamaged. Do not continue to use damaged or loosely seated scales.

Use other than intended: Do not misuse, modify, overload the scales or use them on unsuitable knife models. Improper use can lead to material breakage, loss of control or injury.

Children and small parts: Not a toy. Keep away from children. Supplied screws and other small parts must likewise be kept away from children due to the possible risk of swallowing.
