Cross Inlay for SAK Scales 91 mm

With the cross inlay you make your 91 mm Daily Customs SAK scales even more individual. The inlay sits precisely behind the cross on the front of scales with a designated recess and sets a visible yet coherent accent there. Depending on the material it looks technical, classic, striking or deliberately restrained. The Damascus variants in particular bring their own subtle signature to the setup without appearing obtrusive.

The cross inlay is available in titanium, brass, copper, Canvas Micarta in green, black and natural, as well as in DSC® Zitanium, DSC® Titanium and DSC® Mokume. The three DSC® materials are available in the Wild Damascus structure. For metal inlays there are also variants with a recess for a 6.00 mm tritium vial.

DSC® Titanium is a titanium Damascus made of several different titanium alloys. DSC® Zitanium consists of titanium and zirconium. DSC® Mokume is a material composite of bronze, brass and copper. For a long time we searched for a forge that meets our standards for material quality, manufacturing precision and repeatability. We source our finest and most exceptional materials directly from the traditional German company BalbachDamast. DSC® Zitanium, DSC® Titanium and DSC® Mokume are protected brand names of BalbachDamast.

For the surface you can choose between plain and 3D. With plain, the surface is smooth, so the cross sets itself apart visually and haptically. With 3D, the cross is milled so that it sits flush with the surface of the scale. This lets you tailor the look of your scales even more precisely to your own taste and EDC setup.

The cross inlay is made in Germany and was developed specifically for 91 mm Daily Customs SAK scales with a designated recess. It extends the customisability of your scales by another defining detail. Good to know: if you want to change the cross inlay, the scale has to be re-mounted.

Notes:

Our Micarta products are shipped untreated. For richer colours, the surface can be treated with mineral oil. The material also develops a natural patina through use. Due to the fabrics used, every piece is unique; variations in colour and structure are normal. Titanium, brass and copper are natural materials too. Variations in colour and the formation of a patina are therefore also possible.
