The Picknicker is a slim folding knife for anyone looking for an uncomplicated cutting tool for on the go, the kitchen and everyday use. The blade folds away and disappears safely into its own handle – which makes the knife compact to stow and quick to hand. Whether at a picnic, while travelling, camping or for small cutting jobs in between: the knife is light, practical and easy to take with you.

The basis is a Victorinox picnic knife. We swap the scales for custom titanium scales with a Stonewash finish and a topographic design. The scales we fit are made in Germany. This gives the knife a technical, graphic surface and a clear custom character, without losing its clear, practical core function.

The name Picknicker describes its area of use very directly. The knife is suited to snacks, fruit, bread rolls, vegetables and many small cutting tasks where you do not need a big knife but still want to work cleanly. As a folding knife it can be stowed compactly and safely and is quickly ready to use on the go.

The Picknicker is available either with a plain blade or a serrated edge. The plain blade is suited to controlled, clean cuts. The serrated edge is particularly practical for items with a firmer surface, for example bread, tomatoes or fruit skins.

The titanium scales with a Stonewash finish give the knife a technical, hard-wearing look. Small signs of use stand out less on the lively surface and suit the character of a knife that is meant to be used regularly. The topographic design additionally brings depth to the surface, while remaining pared-back and everyday-friendly.

Note:

Titanium is a material whose surface can change over time. Variations in colouring as well as the possible formation of a patina therefore cannot be avoided.

PICKNICKER FOLDING KNIFE – YOUR PICNIC KNIFE ON THE GO

The Picknicker is a slim picnic knife for on the go, for anyone who wants a light, uncomplicated cutting tool close at hand. The blade folds away after use, so the knife stows compactly and doesn't take up more space than it needs to. That makes it a great fit for picnics, travel, camping, and small everyday cutting tasks.

Its strength lies in simple tasks where a large kitchen knife would be overkill: cutting fruit, prepping bread rolls, chopping vegetables, or fixing up snacks on the go. The Picknicker isn't a heavy outdoor tool — it's a practical folding knife for moments when you want to cut cleanly without carrying much gear.

The knife gets its distinctive character from the fitted titanium scales with a stonewashed finish and topographic design. That keeps the clear function of a compact picnic knife intact, while the look and feel become more technical, individual, and personal. The Picknicker combines everyday usability with a material and design look that fits well into a modern EDC setup.

THE PRACTICAL FOLDING KNIFE FOR PICNICS, TRAVEL, AND CAMPING

A folding picnic knife makes the most sense when you want to stay flexible on the go. The blade tucks away into the handle after use, keeping the knife compact and easier to carry than a fixed kitchen knife. This simple handling really counts on a picnic, while traveling, or camping: you don't need a big setup, just a cutting tool that takes up little space and is quickly ready to use.

The Picknicker is built for exactly these situations. It's not a heavy outdoor knife — it's a light folding knife for everyday cutting tasks on the go. You can stow it in a backpack, bag, or travel luggage and pull it out quickly when needed — for example, to prep a small meal, cut fruit and vegetables, or share bread rolls and snacks.

Thanks to its slim build, the Picknicker stays pleasantly uncomplicated. It suits anyone who doesn't want to carry a knife on their belt all the time but wants a compact picnic knife that's ready when needed. The result is a perfect mix of everyday usability, easy portability, and a clear cutting function.

TYPICAL CUTTING TASKS WITH THE PICKNICKER

The Picknicker is built for small, clean cutting tasks that come up on the go or in between. These are mostly foods you want to quickly prep on a picnic, while traveling, or camping: fruit, bread rolls, vegetables, cheese, snacks, or simple ingredients for a small meal.

Its strength isn't rough outdoor work, but controlled cuts on manageable ingredients. If you don't need a full knife block but still want to cut cleanly, a folding picnic knife is exactly the right tool for this.

That's why the Picknicker stays deliberately specialized: light, slim, and practical for anything that needs to be prepped, shared, or portioned on the go.

THE ADVANTAGES OF THE SERRATED BLADE

We offer the Picknicker with a serrated blade. The serrated edge really shows its strength on foods with a firmer or slicker surface, such as bread rolls, tomatoes, fruit, or other foods where the edge needs to grip first. If you often use your picnic knife for bread, snacks, or camping meals, the serrated edge can be especially practical.

TITANIUM SCALES, STONEWASH, AND TOPOGRAPHIC DESIGN

The Picknicker is based on a Victorinox picnic knife. At Daily Customs, it gets fitted titanium scales with a stonewashed finish and topographic design. That doesn't change the knife's clear core function — it mainly changes its look, feel, and personal character.

Titanium suits a knife that's meant to be used and carried regularly. The material feels technical, clean, and pleasantly understated. The stonewashed finish creates a lively surface where small signs of use stand out less than on very smooth or glossy surfaces. That way, the Picknicker stays a practical picnic knife while gaining its own distinctive material character.

The topographic design adds extra depth to the surface without feeling too busy. The graphic lines are reminiscent of contour lines on a map, making them a particularly good match for travel, camping, picnics, and EDC. The scales we fit are made in Germany and give the Picknicker its own Daily Customs signature, without obscuring the origin of the base knife.

WHO IS THE PICKNICKER FOLDING KNIFE FOR?

The Picknicker is right for you if you want a compact picnic knife that stays functional while bringing its own distinctive character. It's made for people who don't want to carry much gear on the go, but still appreciate a clean cutting tool for picnics, travel, camping, or everyday life.

The knife is especially appealing to anyone looking for a light folding knife for small meals, snacks, fruit, vegetables, or bread rolls. The Picknicker also works well in an EDC context if you prefer a slim knife that's not built for heavy outdoor work, but for simple cutting tasks in between.

Thanks to the titanium scales with a stonewashed finish, the Picknicker also appeals to anyone who cares about material, surface, and design. The picnic knife's function stays deliberately clear and uncomplicated, while the look and feel take on a more personal, technical direction.

NOTES ON TITANIUM, SURFACE, AND PATINA

Titanium is a material with its own surface and material character. On the Picknicker, that shows especially in the stonewashed finish: the surface is deliberately not mirror-smooth, but lively and technical. Small signs of use can therefore blend more naturally into the overall look.

Like many metals, titanium can change visually over time. Slight variations in coloring, different surface nuances, or the formation of a patina are typical of the material and can't be fully avoided. That's not a flaw — it's part of the character a knife can develop with regular use.

If you use your Picknicker often on picnics, while camping, or traveling, the surface may show more visibly over time that the knife has been put to work. That exact worn-in character fits well with the stonewashed finish and the understated, technical design of the titanium scales.
